Press the Device button again to return to exit the Alternate Page and return to its regular Page. In any Page, press the Device button to enter its Alternate Page. These Alternate Pages are accessed with the Device button. Each Page has an Alternate Page, which I will call Alt, Alt, and Alt. Press Mute, Solo, or Record to enter, , and, respectively, and the button will light to show the change. These are accessed with the Device, Mute, Solo, and Record Arm buttons. There are 6 main pages of controls in Deck Mode, arranged as 3 Pages and 3 Alternate Pages. The buttons are two separate Shift keys, which I will also call Shift 1 and Shift 2. Since the controls are not applicable in Track Decks or Live Inputs, when the current Deck is of either of those flavors, the V button will not be lit, though you can still access the page, if you so desire. So I'll start with how to access each of these: Now, I have this mapping arranged over a large framework consisting of a great many pages and layers. But that will mean manually changing EVERY SINGLE LINE IN THE CONTROLLER EDITOR from MIDI Channel 1 to Channel 12.
I plan to change this in the future so that the mapping works on the Factory 1 Template, so that it will work regardless of how you use your User templates. If you have edited this template, the mapping may not work as expected.
I will post here again with the details on how the mapping works and how to use it as soon as I can.įirst, use the User 1 Template built in to the LCXL. It would also be well suited as an addition to a CDJ or turntable setup, although it is designed for four decks.
It does not offer control over the Mixer, Transports, or Browser. This mapping for the LCXL is best suited to be used in addition to an all-in-one controller. You can delete the G4V mapping if you have no use for it.
To import it, I recommend only checking the box for Controller mappings, because the file also contains Layouts, Effect Settings, and Other Settings and Preferences, but these relate more to the use of the G4V. I've attached a *.tsi file containing my mappings.
